Alden satellite TV equipment is simple to use, reliable and efficient. With both semi and fully automatic units, with a choice of dish sizes and even colours, the Alden range includes models which cover most requirements.

There are three basic models:
Orbiter:
This model offers excellent value for money with fully automatic searching of several satellites. A number of dish sizes and types is available up to 85cm diameter.
Onematic:
Offering similar performance to Orbiter models, Onematic has the additional benefit of manual control. This can mean very fast search times. It can be used with dish sizes up to 65cm.
Confort:
With the convenience of a permanently mounted system, Confort costs a lot less than fully automatic models. Dish elevation is motorized and is controlled via up/down buttons and a large digital display. The dish is then rotated manually to locate the satellite using either a satfinder or an Alden Satmatic receiver.

Alden’s ORBITER range offers a tried and tested design at very reasonable prices.

Available in a range of sizes, ORBITER systems include an S.S.C. controller for quick and reliable satellite location. Dishes feature Alden’s patented vent system which reduces the effect of strong winds as well as a fuse which ensures that, in the event of high winds or collision with a solid object, neither the satellite system nor the vehicle is damaged.

Any digital satellite receiver can be used with the Orbiter and, if a free to air receiver is used, thousands of channels transmitted via Astra 1, Astra 2, Atlantic Bird, Hotbird and Hispasat can be accessed. These include all those from BBC & ITV to be accessed as well as most U.K. radio stations. (As with all satellite TV systems, the programs which can be received will vary according to geographical location.)

For people who need Internet access in a vehicle with similar functionality to what they? d expect at home or at work, the Alden Netmaster 90 offers just that. Developed in collaboration with the European Space Agency, this system gives reliable web access in almost every part of Europe and beyond.

Based on Alden’s 90cm "Platinum" satellite TV system, the Netmaster is simple to operate and can also be used to receive TV signals, although not at the same time. Additional hardware consists of a special 2-way LNB outside and a specially designed modem on the inside of the vehicle.

Download speeds of up to 1024 Kb/s enable the use of VOIP phones and, with additional hardware, it’s even possible to watch TV via the Internet.

40 days access (which can be used at any time during the course of a year) is included with the system and various access packages are available to suit both occasional users and full-timers.

ONELIGHT satellite systems are specifically designed for use on vehicles and boats where space is limited and / or weight is of prime importance.
