The Samy Solar plus space saver

This innovative development (patent pending) bundles the comfort of an automatic satellite unit with the energy yield of a sun-tracking solar module – space-saving in a combined unit.

The GPS-controlled system automatically follows the sun’s position or with a 65 cm Ø offset dish quickly ensures wide-range satellite reception, simply by push of a button.

Samy SolarPlus is equipped with a 50 Wp solar module and in solar operation achieves the maximum energy output by optimum alignment towards the sun at any time.

On average, this corresponds to the power of approx. three fixed-mounted, horizontal single 75 Wp modules. Samy SolarPlus convinces by maximum space saving and increased mobility with high comfort.

Why GPS?

GPS – “Global Positioning System” – this term is often immediately brought into connection with a navigation system.

But what has a solar system to do with a navigation system? Normally nothing.

With Samy SolarPlus, however, GPS supplies the accurate geographical positional data of the user as well as date and time-of-day. Based on this information, Samy SolarPlus determines the accurate position in relation to the sun for each moment. The solar module is thereby always – in particular also in cloudy weather – accurately aligned towards the sun and thus supplies the maximum current yield.
