Booking form

Hire Home

A £200.00 non refundable booking deposit is required, Full balance is to be received 6 weeks prior to departure date or immediately if booking is made less than 6 weeks prior to hire commencement. The hirer is responsible for proof of id, and should provide a form of photo id and a recent utility bill, hire will be refused if this requirement is not met.
A £500.00 (£750 Europe) damage insurance excess is required prior to the vehicle being released, (cash or credit card) The hirer is liable to bear the first £500 (£750 Europe)of each claim for damage and loss to insured vehicle, ie broken windscreen, puncture, lost utensils etc.
The hirer agrees that they:
a) Are responsible for any fines (including parking fines) which may be incurred during the hire period.
b) Will be responsible to Adventure Motorhomes for the cost of making good any damage caused to the vehicle internally or externally by improper use.
c) Understand that no claim by the hirer for loss or damage to personal belongings or effects of the hirer or any person or persons will be considered.
d) Are not to have pets or  to smoke inside the vehicle, and that their refundable deposit may be withheld due to such actions.
Drivers
All drivers must be over 24 (28 for Europe) and under 70 years of age and have held a full domestic driving licence for at least 3 years. The licence must be unendorsed (speeding and parking offences are charged additionally (£4 (£6 Europe) per day per 3 points) and must be produced at the time of collecting the vehicle, (both parts if two part licence.)Drivers of the 6 berth must hold a C1 licence or have passed their drivers test prior to 1997.
Insurance + extra costs
Fully Comprehensive insurance is included for one driver during the period of hire, additional drivers are charged at £35  per week,  An additional payment of £145.00 per week is required for continental* use.  
Hirers are advised to take out additional personal holiday insurance.
Collection and Return
Vehicles are available for collection on Friday from One o'clock. All Hire's start and finish at Adventure motorhomes. All vehicles have at least a quarter of a tank of fuel and should be returned as such. Vehicles Must be returned by 9.30  am on the final day of hire. On return, motorhomes are to be clean internally. This is to include cooker, fridge and bathroom  or a surcharge of £50 will apply. Additionally, un-emptied toilets will incur a £30 penalty.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be in writing. If cancellation is received more than 6 weeks prior to the commencement of hire, the deposit will be forfeited, Less than six weeks the following will apply: 4-6 weeks 40% of total 2-4 weeks 65%, less than 2 weeks 80%.
Adventure Motorhomes reserves the right to cancel hire if, at the commencement of hire. The drivers licences are invalid or not according to the conditions set out above. In these circumstances all monies paid by the hirer (except the refundable excess charge) will be forfeited to Adventure Motorhomes. Hirers are strongly advised to insure against unavoidable cancellation.
Availability
While every effort is made to ensure that the vehicle reserved is available, if due to circumstances beyond our control and the reserved vehicle is not available, the company reserves the right to offer a suitable alternative. If this is not acceptable, the liability of Adventure Motorhomes will be limited to the return of any monies paid by the hirer.
Parking
The hirer may park free of charge at his/her own risk one car for the period of the hire.
Breakdowns
In the event of a breakdown or accident contact us immediately on the following numbers. 01278 457 557, 07812 390 066. Instructions for repairs or replacements, at a cost not exceeding £85 may given by the hirer, who will be reimbursed on the production of receipted invoices. Every effort is made to ensure that the vehicle is in a safe and roadworthy condition before it leaves our company's premises, but Adventure Motorhomes shall be under no liability for third party claims or damages in connection with, or consequent upon, any accident or breakdown. In the event of an accident involving the vehicle a completed Accident Report Form must be handed to Adventure Motorhomes at the termination of hire.
